The experience we had with OELO was seamless. Mike Thirft was courteous and very informative throughout the process on what was what, how it worked or would look and what we could expect. The installation went extremely well and without a hitch. The finished product looked fantastic and entire process was painless. Enough so that my father really had an appreciation for it and had lights installed on his house as well. Great job!
Jan 31, 2025 Review provided after order fulfillment My system has ben installed by a professional for almost a week and so far I have been unable to use it. My box says its connected, however, I can’t change the colors of my lights because I get an error that my phone can’t communicate with the box. Also, on the few instances that I can change the color (three times) it only works on the first 124 lights. All the others, I have a total of 487, have not changed from the ”tester” blue. Update: Within hours i received a call from the Oelo technician. He was so helpful. It took him less than 5 minutes to fix my issue.
The product works very well, the app is intuitive, and it is nice to not have to take the lights down at the end of the Christmas season. only down side is that the lights being in the dormer – obstructs some of the lights as you drive up the street, until you are in front of the house.
Love the lights, they are bright, and can even be seen during the day. They have lots of pre-programmed options which makes picking your color scheme easy. The app is simple and can quickly be programmed in multiple scenarios. Love it all!
The communication was great from the first inquiry to the end of the project. Oelo, the local salesperson and electrician were quick to respond to our questions and were professional. All involved were very helpful to get our lights installed during a busy time for the company. I would highly recommend Oelo lighting!
Everything about this process was perfect. Installation was right on schedule and professional. We had an issue with our Wifi (that OELO warned us about if we put it in the location we wanted it)… and it wasn’t working as planned (again…they warned us!). We made some adjustments, and they helped us re-set up without hesitation and everything is working perfectly!
The app is reliable and easy to use. Just wish it had a web interface so I could customize the lighting from a computer rather than using just the mobile app.
Could not happier with the quality and the look it adds to our house on holidays.
